MISSON + VISION
Working professionally in eco-intentional and creative community building, my aim is to support and develop both online and in person strategies that focus on creative ecological outreach, stewarding restorative practices between cultures and local environments. Empowering circles of care and integral impact initiatives through social sculpture, connective-aesthetics and workshop facilitation.
The vision is nothing less than realizing the full potential of each individual as an agent of change, cultivating full participation in re-enlivening responsibility towards planetary symbiosis.
Contributing to a new era of development, care and sustainability my main motivation is through collaborative learning and participation in both campaign management and arts/craft education.
I am currently researching the relevance of autonomous agency and communal imagination in reaching across borders to ignite new practices in community building, ecological restoration and cultivating cultures of care.
With over 12 years experience in interdisciplinary arts and a masters degree in Social Sculpture, my foundations are built upon performance, sculpture and participation as connective aesthetics within campaign direction, using provocation as a key tool in highlighting social and environmental issues. By integrating and building upon artistic culture and expression I bring an understanding of how to harness collective imagination and creativity as tools for visually drawing attention to and connecting ethics to aesthetics. With a strong track record in exhibiting and teaching internationally and aiding organisations that supports progress in social, political and carbon neural economies, I am extremely interested in how we can use creative expression and craft to educate and change environmental policy.
